If I could give more stars I would, 5 just isn't enough. Prompt estimate, work started on day started. Crew is small and takes pride in their work. Needed a fence to keep dogs in with low maintenance, what I received was a fence that will not keep dogs in and with high maintenance. Already have had to have someone repair fence because its so weak. Plus fix their mess.Too many problems to list them all. They do not use material that is said on contract therefore they charge you for better material than what they actually use. Contract says 11.5 gauge chain link which is 125 thickness, they installed 17 gauge that is 0437 thickness. Its like a temporary aluminum wire fence that bends easily. Make excuses why they did horrible work and lie about the thickness but I have proof it is not what they said. Post are not below freeze point so most likely in time we know what's going to happen there. Check your material make sure it really is what is on contract.

Bad customer service!! I called Jim's Fence Co. to get a repair on my fence. It's not a big job but the immediate response was, "...I can't work on something small like that right now." This response made me feel like the company only wants to help if it's a big job that they're going to make a larger amount of money. The gentleman made me feel like my needs were not important. I wonder if that's their normal handling of customers (or potential customers.)

Good experience from the start all the way to the finish. Called Jim's and asked if he would come out and give me an estimate on a fence. I wanted to show him my yard and get the added value of his opinions and experience on different types of fences. He met me during lunch and discussed to pros and cons of different fence types - and then he recommend half privacy - half garden fencing. Then he wrote an estimate and reviewed that with me. He emailed when it was getting close to the work date, then called as we got close to the scheduled date and set an exact time and date. His crew was professional, detail oriented and worked hard! Those guys can "crank" out some work. They took great care with our property - and trees that were close to the fence line. Fence looks awesome - glad I went with Jim's.

Price quoted was the final price charged. Estimate was cheaper than most and was for a better quality wood anyway. Very good fence and very professional and friendly workers. Highly recommend!
