Pilgrim Cleaners is hands down the best at everything, especially alterations. The staff is very friendly, and garments are done when promised. Clothes always look great, and the employees are super nice. The business provides text updates about dry cleaning and sends a reminder when items are ready for pick up, which helps customers remember. They also have very reasonable hemming or sewing prices compared to other places. After a hurricane damaged their building, Pilgrim Cleaners had a temporary building up and running in no time. The only negative thing is they couldn’t tell an exact amount of what was going to be charged, only an approximate, and the receipt didn’t specify what the charges were for. Overall, the work is done in a reasonable time, very professional, and the service is very kind.
I've been using the Pilgrim's cleaners in Alvin for years - great staff and service. Our area was hit with a hurricane and the building that Pilgrims was in was damaged and they didn't miss a beat- they had a temporary building up and running in no time. The ladies are always super nice and I love receiving the text updates about my dry cleaning..
The only negative thing I didn’t like was: they couldn’t tell me an exact amount of what was going to be charged. It was an approximate , which I paid about $10 more than the estimate. And the receipt didn’t even specify what the charges were for .
Our clothes always look great and the staff is very friendly. They give you a day they will be ready for pick up when you drop off then text you a reminder when they are ready which helps me to remember to pick them up. They also have VERY reasonable hemming or sewing prices compared to other places.
