I started getting haircuts at Walraven's Barber Shop at about age 15 when my folks first moved to a farm south of town. We loved going there--the kids, the old guys, it was like Mayberry and Floyd's Barber Shop really. Very good people.

If you’re in Alvarado and looking for a no-nonesense, no frills, fairly quick $10 men’s haircut this is your place. The barber is a really nice guy who’s been cutting hair for over 45 years since he was a barber in the military.
