“Amplified Vision is different from any other doctor's office I've ever been in! When you walk in, you feel like you're in the home of a cool friend with a vintage vibe and records spinning on their turntable. Presley greeted me with a smile and got me checked in, and I immediately got the sense that everyone there loves their job. They're like a little family. Kennah welcomed me and quickly noticed that I was tilting my head back to see out of my glasses. I wasn't even aware I was doing this. My ill-fitting progressives were causing me neck pain and headaches and I didn't realize the problem. I *hate* picking out glasses. (Years ago, I even let my 4 year old daughter make the decision for me because I couldn't.) At Amplified Vision, instead of wandering aimlessly around and frustratedly trying on glasses by myself, Courtney, their fun and gifted optician, enthusiastically said she would help me find the perfect pair. She looked at the shape of my face, asked about my style preferences, and started handing me glasses to try on. This woman knows what she's doing! She'd say yay or nay almost the second they were on, and it was a relief to have help with this task because I needed her expertise. Jaidyn, the technician who handles all the pre-exam tests, is so sweet and clearly a pro at what she does. They have technology I had never seen before. Then came the exam with Dr. Brooks Grant. I am in my fifties and have been wearing glasses or contact for most of my life, and I've never had an eye exam this thorough. He spent so much time with me. And you know that moment of self-doubt when you're looking at the eye charts and are asked, "Which is better, A or B?" but they are barely different and you can't decide? It stresses me out! Dr. Grant remedied that by putting the options side-by-side so I could compare them! It was a small thing but I had never seen that done before and it made me feel even more confident about the exam. You can tell that for Dr. Grant and his entire team, this isn't just a job. It is their mission. They are faithful stewards. You see it in the way they greet every patient by name and treat them like family. My glasses were ordered and came in sooner than promised. Picking them up was so exciting! Kennah presented me with a little gift bag and everyone gathered around. The unboxing was met with the kind of excitement you'd expect from friends watching you open a birthday present. And the best part? For the first time ever, my progressive lenses worked perfectly from the moment I put them on. I can see! I can't recommend Amplified Vision highly enough. They have amplified not only my vision but my expectation for what excellent eye care looks like.“
