Very rude. Got my dog fixed and I had questions and he was absolutely rude to me. Not going back.

He was very rude to me when I had any sort of question. Raised his voice and was cutting me off with an answer. I don’t like the way he was very rough with my kitten after she had just been spayed and had an injured knee. I am not saying he isn’t knowledgeable about what he does. He seems to know a lot. Was not going to write a review but when I went back to ask some questions and the level of disrespect I received, I decided to. The price was great but I’d rather pay more and have a veterinarian that seem like they actually care.

Should have read the reviews before making the appointment. He’s got far right political stickers and conspiracy theory papers plastering the walls, nobody was working the desk, and he didn’t even ask for our name/number or the pet’s name when making the appointment. It was extremely eerie; he never heard me come in and was muttering cuss words under his breath in a different room. Managed to leave and get into a normal vet’s office nearby and they were amazing over at Southwest.
Keep your politics out of your business.

Dr. Hitchcock was very rude and inconsiderate when calling to have my 17 year old dog put to sleep. He just continued to interrupt me and told me if I didn’t bring my dog in that day that he had no interest in setting up a later date. Definitely not someone I want putting my long time friend to sleep. He definitely needs to be more considerate towards potential clients and their pets.

I took a kitten in that had fallen out of a car. He told me to put it on the counter and walk away. He didn’t check to see if it was alive he just put it in a bag and tied it up.

Don’t waste your time here, took my dog that was having bad eye swelling and can’t open his mouth without crying and they are inconsiderate and did not at all check my animal without immediately saying we need to sedate, they did not take it serious and made jokes about my animal saying how he was fine, don’t spend money here and don’t waste your time

I have only been here one time and it was about 3 years ago, I don't know why I didn't write this sooner but I felt I shouldn't stay quiet forever. I brought my 2 dogs to get spayed and when I came to pick them up the doctor was extremely rude, when I went to bring my dogs to the car they were still dizzy from surgery and the doctor literally kicked one of my dogs because they were scared and not moving after being let out the kennel. Lastly when I went to pay he took my card, swiped it and tossed it back at me. No one should give this place business it's not worth it, also my dogs were excessively puking after for the rest of the day when we got home.

His bed side manner may be unpleasant for some but he saved my squirrels life. Without over charging. He educated me in the nicest possible way he could and I am grateful for him!!!!! He is the only vet within a 50 mile radius that tends to such sweet creatures as my squirrels. I am so very thankful for him!!!!
