Nail First is a long-standing nail salon that treats customers like family, with some clients having been attended across three generations. The owner is described as super nice and typical Vietnamese mom, with a great rapport. Services include foot massages, pedicures, and dip powder manicures. The work is often amazing, decent, fast, and efficient, with nails looking nice. However, the salon is not super clean, though not alarmingly so, and has a limited color selection. There is often only one technician, so wait times can be long, requiring patience. The biggest negative is the price, which is considered average in some contexts but also overpriced, way too expensive, and on the higher end for the area. Despite this, many customers recommend it and plan to return.
First time I went to this place of business she did a beautiful job on putting on Gel X nails and did a good job with all aspects. I went there about 2 weeks ago got the gel x put on again and paid $65 + $10 tip. When I got home I noticed that there was still polish on my cuticles and along the sides of my nails. I also asked for a manicure which I never got. Went back on my next day off of work but they were not open. I finally went to Cali nails who removed the Gel x nails , did my manicure and just got gel polish on my own nails. Cali nails did a beautiful job and I will go back there and I do highly recommend them.
Stylist: The man who works there is rude. I paid for a manicure with no polish, just cleaning up my nails and cuticles and he barely touched my hands. Yet charged me $50 for a plain pedicure (no wax or anything special) and a 6 minute “manicure”. His wife did a good job on my pedicure. I still gave her a $20 tip although I didn’t want him to have any of it. I would gladly pay whatever price, but I didn’t need to be told how unhealthy and hopeless my nails were. Not going back there.
My mothers been going here since I was little. She’s seen my mom me and my daughter. Tina and Tan always do amazing and treat us like family. She loves my daughter and loves that she’s seen 3 generations now. I would recommend to anyone.Services: Foot massages
