I've never been to an eye doctor until an eye emergency brought me to Dr. Whitmire. I found this office to be relaxing and professional. Dr. Whitmire went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Don't let the front desk try to talk you into paying your entire visit upfront when leaving. Tell them to bill your insurance and send you the bill.

I've never been to an eye doctor until an eye emergency brought me to Dr. Whitmire. I found this office to be relaxing and professional. Dr. Whitmire went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of.The reasons for my rating is that I was charged 50% of my visit even though I have insurance. I was referred to a specialist and they didn't do that, I was just charged a co-pay like normal. I hope it won't be a hassle to get a refund. Please consider this when they ask you for money. I would avoid checking out with anyone except the front desk.Dr. Whitmire and his staff get a 5/5!
