I broke my 5 speed shifter in my ‘66 Chevy 2 on a backroad in northern Davidson county. I was able to pull into someone’s driveway and managed to flag down John with South Side as he was driving by. He assisted me in getting the wheels chocked and allowed me to use his tools to get the console open to access the broken shift lever on the transmission. I did not have to be towed thanks to the kindness that John showed. He gave me his own vice grips to use as a make shift shifter, which got he home. These guys care and are very professional in my experience. They will be the first ones I call anytime I need a tow from now on. Thanks South Side Towing!
The after hours employee that answered was not kind - but the owner is great and was very kind to my husband and I. The owner made up for everything we originally dealt with - he went above and beyond! So for that reason - I'm updating my review based on our entire experience.
