I was at the vet today with my dog, who was admittedly being very difficult and resistant. Despite that, Dr. Thomas and the entire staff were outstanding. They went beyond just being clinically professional — they were genuinely kind, patient, and understanding throughout the entire visit.
Even with our dog being scratchy and volatile, everyone remained calm, reassuring, and supportive. As an owner, that made a huge difference. I never felt judged or rushed; instead, I felt like they truly understood the situation and cared about both my dog’s well-being and my comfort as an owner.
Dr. Thomas took the time to talk through a thoughtful plan to help Winnie feel more comfortable in the office going forward, which I really appreciated. It was clear this wasn’t just about getting through the appointment, but about building a better experience for future visits.
I’m very grateful for the care, patience, and professionalism shown today. Highly recommend Dr. Thomas and her team.

Gus has been going to Richland Animal Clinic since he was a little guy, and we couldn’t say more positive things! He’s now 120 lb and still loves every visit. If you’re in the Nashville area, I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

Literally the nicest human beings on the planet. Every last one of them. I can't say enough good things about them. Fantastic in every aspect of care. I NEVER leave reviews unless a place really stands out. And stand out they did, with pure awesome.
Had to bring my dog in the day after Christmas as an emergency new patient. I live almost an hour from them and my own vet is closed until after the new year. Not opening back up until Jan 5th! The day after Christmas ALL the vets around me were closed. I called every one of them before looking towards Nashville for help. I'd had good experiences with Richland prior, as they were my vet originally when I lived in Nashville 30 years ago. That's why I chose them for my post-Christmas emergency. They got me right in that day.
Even though its an hour drive for me, I'm switching back to them now I'm so happy with my experience. They were there for me when my own (now former) vet wasn't for this ordeal.
Absolutely 100% recommend. Without question.

I cannot say enough good things about Richland and the staff there. If you have fearful dogs, this is absolutely the place to go. They have spent so much time, patience, and treats getting my Sadie to a place where she could tolerate and even enjoy the vet. They are a fear free practice and they truly mean it. The countless hours they have spent and dedication that every member of that staff has to treat your pets like family is incredible. I’m so thankful I found them because no vet could every measure up what they have done for Sadie.

Lovely place! All the staff is kind and take great care of my kitties. I also love how they have a candle in the lobby to indicate whether someone is saying goodbye to their pet. So nice to have a great vet I can rely on!

A very efficient and competent place to take your fur baby. I had to have my dog put down and they were very compassionate, caring and downright nice. My son and DIL used them for the care of their fur baby and they were always pleased with them. Highly recommend.
