HORRIBLE experience!!!I called earlier in the week to book a "dusting" with a hairstylist that had availability. I had a conversation with the receptionist where she felt the need to explain that a dusting was different than a haircut, and the dusting was just to keep the shape of a previous haircut. Yup. That's exactly what I was looking for. The stylist that usually does my hair at a different salon had moved away. So she then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a haircut or a dusting. I stated again, a dusting. Great. We were on the same page. I booked the appointment.I booked the appointment with KENDRA. I arrived at the salon a couple minutes early and was told Kendra would be with me shortly bc she had to move her car. Ok. I waited 10 mins past my appointment time for her to appear. Fine. No big deal I guess. I get to her chair. She confirms that I'm just here for a dusting..a minor trim. Yup. I hold my hair and point to the very verrrryyy ends and say I just want a minuscule amount taken off, stating I " don't even want to be able to really see the amount you take off on the floor." She says she understands. Puts the cape on me, and goes to get scissors from somewhere else because she says she's "using someone else's station." Ok cool. She then starts a conversation with me and tells me she's new there. I tell her I haven't had my hair trimmed in forever because I don't usually trust people to touch it. She then crouches on the floor to, what I assumed, reach the verrry ends of my hair..which WAS really long. So I cant see what she's doing. She asks if I like my hair straight across (after she'd already been cutting, mind you.) To which I respond "no, I like the point cut. She then asks me to stand up and come behind the chair so she can get it even. That's when I looked at the floor and saw that she had taken INCHES off of my hair. At least 2 inches. I was horrified. All she responded was "sorry. I thought you wanted me to take off everything you were holding in your hand." WHAT???!! I had told you specifically what I wanted, and you said you were clear on that. And if you weren't 100 percent frickin clear than you should have asked questions before taking inches off of my hair.I had JUST gotten my hair to the length I wanted it. It took me years to get it there. And these couple inches will take at least a few months to grow back and in the meantime I'm left unhappy with my hair again. I was so upset that I just took the cape off myself and walked off, hair still all uneven. There was no way I was letting her touch my hair any more. I asked to speak to a manager and was told she was not there that day. Convenient. Not like she can do much to fix things anyway. Unless she can reverse time and give me my hair back. In my opinion, KENDRA should not have a job cutting hair if she can not listen to her client's needs, which she clearly can not. Thanks for ruining my day.. and the next few months of my life ✌Do not book an appointment with KENDRA!!!!Service: Hairstyling

Had a wonderful experience here! Everyone was so nice and thoughtful. Kendra was my stylist with Tara assisting, and both did a great job. Kendra listened carefully to what I was envisioning and gave me an outstanding cut and color. Love the organic and thoughtful products, too!

I come to Pure Salon to see Kendra and she is AMAZING! I got my first balayage done by her and I wasn’t quite sure how it worked or what color would be best and she talked me through the process and answered all my questions. She trimmed and layered my hair, gave me curtain bangs, and I absolutely love it! Not to mention I get SO many compliments on my hair! I appreciate that she really takes her time and doesn’t rush through any of our appointments. She’s so sweet and considerate, a great conversationalist, and I highly recommend her!

I found pure salon on Instagram over a year ago because I wanted to get a perm. I got the pretreatment recommended, and layers put into my hair and got a perm a few months later. The perm had a tiny wave. It really didn’t do anything, I even bought the inner sense organic shampoo, conditioner and curl cream they recommended. In short I spent about $600 (perm, pre treatment, products, tips) for a perm that had hardly a wave. Very disappointed. I contacted the salon and you have to let them know within 7 days for any refund. I live out of state so it wasn’t possible to go back in. They called me and told me it wasn’t possible to refund anything.
