Overall I have been happy with Dr. Jian Wei and his NP's that he has on staff there, and the majority of the staff there are great to work with. I like the fact that the practice does take walk ins even from regular patience, because it's kind of hard to schedule a doctor's visit when you get unexpectedly sick, but Some of the staff does seem to be a bit lax (not willing to go above and beyond for the patience, more concerned with their own time than the patience time) We understand that lunch is from 11am-1pm but if a patient walks in at 11:01pm, could we at least see if the doctor would see them, especially since some people might be on their lunch break of 30mins and it is a routine situation where they have seen the doctor before and the only thing they really need is possibly a shot and a prescription, that would take all of 5 mins.... instead I did a teledoc webmd call, which to be honest was about $75 cheaper and did the same thing that Dr. Wei would have done minus the shot. I really wanted to give 5 starts but just couldnt' do it for this reason and other reasons listed below.
The other thing is that the office staff doesn't seem to be in any hurry with follow up information i.e. test results or referrals for specialist, referrals surgeons and what not. I usually have to call the office daily sometimes 3 or 4 times a day just to get information from them, I leave my information with them, but no one ever proactively calls me back. I mean when you see 4-6 people sitting behind the window just sitting there you would think that someone might be proactively on the phone doing these things but hey who am I to judge. Just sick people waiting on information to get better, that's all.

Man all you guys talking bad about dr wei and the outher dr I have had not 1 problem and I don't think iam going to have one in the future. So iam going to happily go to dr wei office they have worked with me to no end you can't give someone a bullshit rating because 1 person pissed you off that's not very fair.

Dr. Wei and his male NFP are the only two providers I have met with at his practice and they have gone above and beyond for me. I went thru quite a traumatic event last year and the NFP listened to me, gave me every check up imaginable, and that I asked for. I couldn’t have asked for anything else from this man, incredible providers. The two stars are for the staff. In my situation there was no empathy for my calls of concern to see if they were available. The front staff is extremely dismissive and “busy.” The business they are in requires empathy at all costs since people are at their most vulnerable state, and I absolutely dredded to call them every single time to speak with a provider. I can understand being busy, but the sheer tone of “you’re bothering me” in their voice was enough for me to go elsewhere. As I said, Dr. Wei and his care team are the absolute best that I’ve encountered on the treatment portion, but the front staff is what makes it unbearable.
Edit: shortly after this review I was contacted and told I was no longer a patient of theirs….
