Today 4 out of 5 members of my family had eye exams at Precision Eye Care in South MJ by Publix (I’m the only one that got a pass, but that’s only because I saw them a few weeks ago, as I’ve been a glasses/contacts wearer for over two decades). We all showed at 8am, our appointment time, and at 9:35 we were getting into our car. Not only was there speed of care, there was extreme quality of care. Dr. Ryan Fritsch took time to report back to me the details of the exam each of my children received. All my children had fine vision and needed no glasses or corrective care, and although I suspected this result, I know getting eye exams is important regardless of an official eye issue, so we went (and for 2 out of 3 of my children this was their first experience! I’m ashamed we’ve waited so long!). I needed an adjustment to my glasses and they were quickly able to fix my frames too. Everyone was kind and patient as my kiddos (and husband for that matter— he’s never been to an eye doctor!) navigated the new environment and equipment. Dr. Ryan also took time to talk about arteries versus veins to my sons as they showed interest in the eye image they were reviewing. Honestly, this place is just the BEST, and my opinion isn’t based on this one encounter, for I’ve been a patient for years. Today, however, I was able to see how they handle an entire family and eye exam newbies; I can’t think of a better place to recommend for anyone suspecting an eye issue or just trying to maintain proper eye health.
