I don't usually give reviews, but truly a little taken aback how I was greeted. I was looking for a walk in clinic to help answers some questions about a good brand for blue light glasses and maybe a walk in appointment. I saw a woman locking a door, so I politely said "Are you closing or are closed, I'm sorry I can come back!" and the lady greeted me with a "Do we look closed?" As soon as she said that, I felt extremely upset and then I tried to ask if they take appointments or walk ins. She just kept answering with one word responses, "No" "Yeah" "I don't know" .. Worse place to look for an appointment. I have been calling them for so long almost over a month now. Every time when I call to set an appointment somebody receives a call and give a So Called Doctor's number to set an appointment. That number never receives a call and reply the voicemail you left. It's so very annoying. Try some different Walmart instead of this Mount Juliet one.
You go to the Walmart VIsion Center, which purports to be an independent business of the store itself, and you expect getting what you want with no frills, at a reasonable price. You get just that at this Optometrist. However, I do have a couple of complaints. First, the new computer system just slowed everything down. Second, the doctor and the assistant were easily distracted, and were not very engaging. When the assistant took a call while she was doing the preliminary exam, and did not keep it as brief as possible, that was annoying. Dr. Davis had a habit of saying nothing unless it had to do with the examination, which left a lot of awkward silences. Finally, the Doctor had bad breath. That might not seem like much, but he had to get close to my face several times, and that was unpleasant. Even so, a cheap prescription is just that. I can take it where I want and get glasses wherever I need. No harm in the place, it's just not very pleasant.
