Very energetic, knowledgeable and professional doctor. I came to know. He practices conservative medicine, does a thorough investigation to determine root cause with complete physical exam work up. He listens patiently as he does his investigative interview of you. Added some Physical Therapy before he did final intervention of some chiropractic manipulation. He was able to find the multiple root causes of my issue. Provide a post recovery plan that included additional exercises I need to do at home and a plan on the fewest number of visits it would take to get me back to full health as soon as I could. I’ve seen many chiropractors throughout my life other doctors and I can say this man is on his way to be one of the best. Highly recommended to all .“

Bright and cheerful the entire time during treatment. Dr Boston was highly recommended from friends and I have been skeptical my entire life to accept treatment for my lower back pain. Once again I over worked my lower back and on the first day of therapy I could not stand up straight nor walk without a severe limp. He took X-rays and began treatment 3 times weekly for the first few weeks and I was back to normal but I made the decision to start with a maintenance plan to get everything aligned and back to a normal active life. “I live in downtown Memphis, and I wanted a chiropractor convenient to my home. I picked Chiropractic Memphis Downtown after a referral from my partner solidified the decision, and I'm so happy I did!! Dr. Matt is enthusiastic about what he does in a way that I've never experienced in previous chiropractic care -- heck, in ANY medical care. He makes sure his patients understand their cases through the use of verbal and visual explanations, breaking everything down and making all the "science-y stuff" accessible. He works hard to make chiropractic care affordable, even for the uninsured.And then there's the office space itself. The place is beautiful, filled with top-notch equipment for x-rays, adjustments, and physical therapy. His practice is unique (to me, at least) in the sense that he stays on top of current research practices. During our first visit, he took x-rays with my neck in various positions to show me the full range of motion of the different vertebrae. For the next visit, he had a transparency with my vertebrae traced out on it that he then used to show me, against my original x-rays, how my bones should be working together compared to what they're actually doing. I'm a visual learner, so I really appreciated this. It also makes the seriousness of some of what I'm facing more tangible. When you can see what's happening and what will happen if you don't intervene, it serves as great motivation.I knew I wanted to work with Dr. Matt when he looked at me after this explanation and said, paraphrased, that he is NOT the cure-all. He asked me how serious I was about getting healthy and if I was willing to do my share of the work, as a partner, to get back to where I should be. He then broke down his idea for a personalized treatment plan, based on what he'd observed and our discussions about my symptoms and struggles, and he laid out the next two months for me. I'm getting actual tools and exercises to retrain my body to do better, and I'm excited to know that I have some control over this process. This isn't him telling me, "I can fix you." He explicitly said otherwise. This is a partnership where we're both responsible for the overall results.I look forward to my treatment plan and working with Dr. Matt, and I would recommend his practice without reservation to anyone looking for a knowledgeable doctor who can take these complex topics and make them accessible, as well as someone who is lighthearted and runs a practice that is, might I dare say, entertaining and enjoyable.“
