I would NOT recommend Fort Loudon Medical center. The staff was accommodating, the facility was clean, but basic policy procedures will keep us from coming back. My husband needed a bone marrow biopsy and they wanted to do it with no anesthesia…only a local. After talking to two nurses and the physician we asked to have something more. We felt we ‘burdened them’ because of the reasonable request. He was awake and still felt so much pain during the procedure. We felt very much like they just wanted us in and out and did not care about the quality of comfort of their patients. If you want fast…then go for it. If you want care and quality head someone else! Would NOT recommend!!
