Dr. Winston and his entire staff has been extremely helpful. They were friendly and all extremely knowledgeable. Even though they were booked out for a month or so, I asked to be put on a cancellation list for certain days, they were able to contact me when they had a cancellation, and got me right in. They have also helped my 4 year old daughter with her vision, and she is loving her glass. 10/10 would recommend!

I’ve seen Barry, Sam, and Blake for various problems and as their schedules permitted. I’ve been very happy (ecstatic really) with the results. I got the rest of my family to start going there, and they have been very happy as well. Admittedly, I know Barry and Sam personally, but I’ve been very happy with the service and results. I recommend them to everyone I can.

The front office people are wonderful! However, Dr Winston was entirely unhelpful. He rushed me, said my prescription was the exact same as two years ago, and when I said I was having trouble seeing in general and that lights at night were making it hard to drive, he said, “Well I don’t have a good answer for you,” and sent me on my way. I will be changing eye doctors.

Dr. Barry and staff went above and beyond in caring for me after cataract surgery. Very caring and kind. I would recommend them as the best!

I've been seeing Winston Eye Care for 5 years and have referred many to the office. I will also continue in the future.

Thorough exam and friendly, knowledgeable staff

I went to this place at my wife's recommendation after using Wal-Mart for years. For some reason the doctor decided I didn't need astigmatism correction after having it prescribed for 30 years, and then when I questioned my prescription he was condescending to me. When I sent him my old prescription (at his request after my prescription was clearly not right) he had no comment and chose not to correct the prescription. I asked to have my money refunded for the contacts I purchased and I will be going to another optometrist.

My family loves this place. My husband and I have both had good experiences with Dr. Rust over the years. Brought my very nervous six year old in today and the staff and Dr. Rust were amazing with him.

We've never had to wait long here.

Sad to have to find a new eye doctor since we'll be leaving the area. Will forever recommend this place to anyone in the Knoxville area!

I had a great experience here! I had a place come up on my eye that needed to be looked at quickly, and they were able to get me in as soon as I was able to get there. Everyone was pleasant and efficient, and Dr. Winston was very friendly and so helpful and thorough. It was also very affordable! I will be using their practice for my eye care going forward.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time now and I’ve never had a problem until today. My doctor is great, no issues there. Their receptionists however are a different story. I had an appointment today and I even got a text message last week to confirm and I show up today and they tell me that my appointment needed to be rescheduled because none of the doctors were there. Receptionist tried saying they didn’t have an updated number for me and when I questioned her about why she said they don’t have an updated one even though I got a text message and everything she changes her story and says that they left a voicemail for my ‘sister’. She even confirmed my phone number and I told her it was correct. Honestly disappointed that they failed to reach out to me. I woke up early and asked for time at work for nothing. It’s hard to get time off from work sometimes. Honestly do better.
