The team here from the nurse practitioners to the nurses to the receptionist are absolutely wonderful! I have very complex medical needs including syncope episodes from POTS and Narcolepsy, and they have gone above and beyond to make sure that myself and my service dog has everything that we need and feel welcome. They also do great coordinating with my doctors. The facility is always clean. You get a private room with a reclining chair, a tv, and a little snack box. There is WiFi as well. They really try to do everything in their power to make the experience as wonderful as possible.
My dad was nervous about doing an infusion again since his previous experience elsewhere was very unpleasant. Our experience at 12 Stone was the exact opposite and absolutely wonderful! From the initial scheduling to final check out, everyone was so thoughtful and uplifting. They made him feel comfortable and he didn’t feel like he was ‘just another patient’. The individual rooms allowed privacy and you feel like you are the only people in the building. My dad usually can’t sit still for more than an hour at a time and they made him feel relaxed enough to nap for the majority of his treatment (14 hours spread across 2 days). They were very professional and accommodating. I was very pleased with how they handled my first experience with the injection. They covered all the necessary points and procedures involved, answered all my questions and were very efficient in doing so. The approval process by the whole organization on their part was also very prompt and efficient except that I had difficulty in being able to respond to their application questionnaire with my digital resources. That, however, was easily resolved at my initial visit.
