The staff was amazing. Everyone was very helpful and respectful. I brought in my 17 year old dog with a facial injury needing staples. They worked with me on the best options to get it done avoiding sedation by my request (due to his age and airway issues). My dog was comfortable and well treated. The wait time was reasonable and the price was affordable (especially for an after hours ER visit).

Amazing doctors, students, & staff. They have taken the best care of my kitten, who has been very sick.

Well when we got there I thought we were going to have to stand there giving them information that honestly could have waited to be given till after my dog was being seen and cared for. You also would have thought they actually weren't that big fans of animals after all as they seemed almost bored and unconcerned about our issue but the vets who actually took care of her, my dog, were thorough and polite. She has to stay there over night and we are expecting a bill of $1,500 which couldn't come at a worse time but hopefully it is worth it as far as there level of care and making sure she is alright as our fur-babies are family and mean a lot to us

Note about their hours (copied and pasted from their website as of November 2023):Our Small Animal/Avian-Exotic Animal Emergency Service is open between the hours of 8 AM and 10 PM. Veterinarians and other members of the veterinary team continue to provide care for hospitalized patients overnight.Between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM we are limiting admissions of new cases to those with immediate life-threatening emergencies or critical care needs. Patients with serious injuries, gastric dilatation-volvulus (bloat), or respiratory distress should seek our immediate help; this includes all K9 officers who have been injured in the line of duty. Anyone bringing an animal to the UT Veterinary Medical Center emergency service should try to call while enroute to provide information on the animal’s condition. Patients with urgent but non-life-threatening needs should contact their primary veterinarian as soon as possible. All cases which do arrive at our front door will be assessed and triaged and, if necessary, provided appropriate emergent care.

I can't begin to express my gratitude to the love and care my baby was treated with. I felt completely safe to trust their word and the cost was very fair too. This is definitely the place I will return to if ever my animals need care

Not sure about this place. One minute out ferret was improving and then she died. Very expensive

They tried hard to help our Yorkie but he was too sick to survive. We have been here before and they did a great job with the Chihuahua.
