I used to go Suburban in the '70's but my job took me away from here. I retired and in 2017 I moved back to West Knoxville close to Suburban. I went to get a haircut and "lo and behold" it was exactly as I remembered except a couple of hundred yards around the corner in the same shopping center. Paul and Hoyt were still cutting hair. They give great haircuts for a reasonable price ($18). The place is family oriented, no TV, loud music, or foul language, just pleasant conversation. Hoyt just retired recently. One of the original barber's daughter, Cindi, is a barber there. Anyway, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

A funny how $25 per cut, bells & whistles barber shops can provide the quality of haircuts you can get here at this old fashioned barbershop that has the greatest barbers I've found in Knoxville. I'm in the military so I travel frequently and haven't found a local place that can get a basic low fade (#1) neat all around right. Mr. PAUL WILSON knocked it out of the park for me and it was reasonably priced at $15. I'm happy
