The staff has over a hundred years of combined experience, with three members recognized by the British Institute of Embalmers. Their caring and empathetic approach makes difficult times more bearable, with staff members treating families like family. Many customers appreciate the professionalism, patience, and attention to detail provided during arrangements and services. The mortuary features beautiful antiques that create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. As a member of professional organizations such as the International Order of the Golden Rule, the National Funeral Directors Association, and others, Stevens Mortuary maintains high standards of care. I stopped in Stevens Mortuary for a visit recently. I got to meet Owner, Mary Evelyn Cantwell, America's oldest active Embalmer. She is an inspiration. She is assisted by two other Embalmers and Funeral Directors, Don and Eric. These folk are quality funeral professionals. Their beautiful grounds and facilities make for a warm, caring atmosphere. As a Minister, I can recommend Stevens in your hour of need. These are nice people!
Steven's Mortuary has served my family for generations. It's comforting to know the highest standard of care has never changed by this still family owned and operated business. Mary Evelyn Cantwell is a force and still going strong in the business and made everything go smoothly with my mother's arrangements.
