Premier turned into Smiles Dentist. But nothing changed but the name. They are the most unprofessional , unethical, and incompetent clinic I have ever had the misfortune of go to. I started a procedure June of 2024. I paid over $1800.00 which was quoted as the total bill. Every month I went back to the clinic to be fitted with a new denture and every month the “doctor” would say it wasn’t right and he would personally talk to the lab. This went on for 10 months. I had already paid them so I couldn’t go anywhere else. Finally I was told the “doctor” had left the clinic and I would see a new dentist. She was very professional and promptly told me the dentist shouldn’t have triedto put a new denture over failed implants. I should get a refund and start all over. The new price was $11,000.00. I received a letter signed by the administrator saying I could get a refund of only $1000.00 if I don’t proceed. In the meantime I received txt that I owed $800 one day and the next day it went up to $1200.00 and this continued!! I told them I wanted my money back according to the written agreement and they replied there was a miscalculation and they weren’t going to refund anything!!! Don’t go anywhere near this clinic. My experience is so much like the reviews of other patients, my experience was consistent. I agree with other reviews this place should be shut down!!! Don’t get caught up with them!!

They never know what's going on with the billing part. When checking in, I made sure that I wasn't renewing my $300 membership, paid the amount that I was told ($143.xx) for a teeth cleaning; once back in the office, responding to some of the questions that they routinely ask you, I told the lady (who was kind and great) that I was feeling some sensitivity in some of my teeth when brushing them—I was expecting for an X-rays and to pay for it on top of the $143.xx but it didn't happen; instead, a "visual exam" was done... I honestly thought that it was part of double checking that the teeth cleaning was properly done (as the always do).

Before leaving, I asked in the front desk if there were anything left to pay and I was told that I was all set. The day after, I received a message saying that my outstanding balance with them was $140. I thought that it was a mistake but then I kept receiving the same message for the next following days; five days later, I called and the lady who answered literally said that she didn't know what happened with it and that they'll give me a callback (which I didn't receive); two days later, I called and they explained me that it was the cost of the "visual exam"—yes, no X-rays included; yes, the one that I thought that it was to double check that the teeth cleaning was properly done, as they always do. They were not able to figure that out neither when I was in the dentist office and asked if I had any remaining balance nor when I called to know what they were charging me for.

There's a lack of communication in that dentist office, from doctors to front desk to the patient. Not returning there anymore.

I went to the office a day early to find out how much the price would be with insurance, brought my card, and everything. I called before my appointment and asked again how much it would cost, and I was told X amount. I went to the office, and after a 35-minute wait, I had the cleaning done. At the end, they charged me four times more. I asked why and was told that the insurance wouldn't cover the full amount. I was aware of this, which is why I called and asked several times for the total amount that would be charged. Apparently, you only find out the amount after each procedure is done.

At first, everything was good. Dr Block was very kind and always made sure I wasn’t in pain. The staff was friendly. I had two root canals here and a crown so spent a lot of money and always paid up front, day of and was given accurate estimates at first.

Until I went and got a retreat on a failed root canal. I paid over $500 to be seen at the time. Everything was good until I complained that the tooth still hurt a few weeks later so I texted Dr Block personally and he said to come in FOR FREE to check on tooth. He told me gum needed to be cleaned and the infection was now in the bone. They charged me $160 for that visit which was suppose to be free cause it was just him looking over the work he did that was unsuccessful. I then asked them to send a referral to an oral surgeon because I wasn’t comfortable doing this procedure awake at their office. They never sent referral by the way. They then started sending me bills for various different prices. $237, $336, $450, $666, $936 but never ever could give me an itemized list of why I owed that. They also did over 7 X-rays during that retreat and charged me for every single one even though it was there mistake to not put the X-ray machine in the right spot so I have to pay for that? They said my retreat actually cost double what the estimate was they gave me. That’s not my fault, it’s there’s. It’s a good faith estimate but somehow I owed double what they told me 3 weeks after the retreat. They ended up billing my insurance for two retreats and sending in codes for things they didn’t even do. They need to be shut down for insurance fraud. They couldn’t explain to me list by list of what I was charged for. They were just wanting extra money for services they didn’t do. Tell me why a root canal would cost $3,000?? They sent me to collections after one week of not paying $900+ for their mistake and negligence. My insurance company filed a complaint cause they agree this isn’t adding up. This place is so shady!

Also I ended up going to a different place that shared with me that it wasn’t as bad as the other dentist said it was. I needed local and he had to pull the tooth. No pulling my gums down or scraping of bone. Premier was going to change me and arm and a leg to do unnecessary stuff on that tooth that should have just been pulled instead of retreated there in the first place.

There estimates are always wrong. They make up prices as they go along and they lie about everything. Please don’t go here. This place needs to be shut down.

Dr Alani is the best ...really hate to loose her...the lady that assists her also is the best....but doesn't matter what you have done or how much they collect from ins...you still owe 23.00...but you never know what for...once it was for covid....next time hasmat....when is enough money enough....in a 10 day period I spent over 4000.00 from my ins....and still owed...23.00...per visit.....and im driving 90 miles one way to get there...last visit was just a partial plate adjustment...took 15 min...dentist said I owed nothing....next day I get a text that I owed 23.00....Was told first it was for covid...after I questioned more it was for hasmatt.....what a way to run off customers...I won't go back

I had the worst service possible. I don't understand how some of these people are employed, but they're a lack of knowledge.

Unacceptable that a new customer schedules their visit more than two weeks out and has used a pto day in advanced and the day before the visit you call and tell them the dentist won’t be available, that’s bad business to me

The Dentist, Alani Naser (please excuse me if I misspelled the names writen), was very kind and knowledgeable, you can tell right away that she is a professional. Also, the lady that did my cleaning was great and went above and beyond. My only frustration was the person who set my appointment, she was short with me and had attitude (Alia), I asked about cost and she wasn’t helpful at all, she told me that someone might call me back but did bother to see if my contact information was updated, and that’s in part my fault I guess, so when I was called by the office to change my appointment to an early time I didn’t pick up because the phone number was incorrect, the problem was that even though I didn’t confirm the change, my appointment was still changed to an earlier time. When I got there, my options were to come back another day or be rushed through the whole process. The dentist and the dental assistant really saved the day.
