“Dr. Biel and Dr. Russell are fantastic, knowledgeable, incredibly kind, reasonable, and absolutely willing to answer questions and concerns. The front office staff and vet techs are incredibly nice, and do an excellent job.

A year ago, I found an injured kitten in the road, clearly just recently hit or thrown from a car. He needed immediate medical care. My dog had recently had a 10k ER STAY at another vet, and there was no way I could afford another giant ER bill so soon, especially on an animal that wasn't even mine. But, there was no way I was leaving him in the road. So, I grabbed him up, and called Vol Vet. They knew me from my biweekly visits with my own dog for follow up, and my recent vet hx. They agreed to take the kitten on and see what they could do for him. He ended up recovering, and one of the vet techs adopted him since my dogs are not cat-safe.
These are, seriously, the BEST PEOPLE.“

“These people care about your pets. Hearing how friendly they are and how they fawn over my cat and dog by name everytime I bring them warms my heart so much.
I have a big, scary dog and other vets on principle ask me to muzzle him for all vet appointment which I have always done. These vets are not the same, they took him, loved on him, did everything, and even told me that bringing the muzzle for his next checkup was completely unnecessary. They care about more than just your pets health, but their comfort as well. These people truly care about what they do and even though I have moved away I still make the drive just to make sure my animals see THEM.“

I can't compliment them enough on friendliness and warm atmosphere. Every visit, which we would just walk in for, they took my dog back right away for nail trims and glands, and were fast AND careful with my dog. She's a little skittish yet not once did anyone try to treat her like anything but the princess she is. Prices were very fair, less than taking her to the vet for the same thing, and less stress!

“Northern Dog Owners! These guy's are a small business with a school attached. We told them we need a good blow out, bath and nail trim for our 95 lbs Alaskan Malamute. Literally the best we have had in Tennessee!!! Knocked it out of the park!! Side note though- for Northern breeds Especially Alaskan Malamutes and Huskies owners, you need to give them a full day to groom and lots of notice! I called and explained my concerns about getting a groomer that can handle the Fluffy butt! They took all day from 9 am until 4 pm I'm sure with breaks lol but that's the amount of time to get this look. She looks and SMELLS like "new car" dog smell amazing! Also, be reasonable some students may show up and get to work with your dogs and they will only do half price because they are learning...BUT honestly I don't care if the instructors do it, if she comes back to me fully blown out. Hats off to the team for a solid GREAT GROOM!!“

“Clint is phenomenal! I brought him all three of my train wrecks yesterday and they came home beautiful. Every other groomer I’ve ever taken them to has really stressed them out and they break their necks to get to me when I pick them up. Now it’s like they are at a friend’s house and not ready to go home. He goes above and beyond to do as I asked and still took the time to make them comfortable. I have a multi-gen labradoodle, German Shepherd, and a shih tzu mix so I don’t make it easy for him. He truly loves all dogs and can work with any breed. Thank you so much for making my babies beautiful again!“
