I started to send my boots back to Lucchese, but for $350 that was a bit too steep. I decided to take the boots to Pendergrass Family Shoe Repair, and I am so happy I did! They didn’t disappoint! I wasn’t sure they could re-sole the boots because of the boots being 20 years old. Knowing how much these boots meant to me, they took great care! I will go back to Pendergrass, over and over again. In a profession that has become all but extinct, Pendergrass Family Shoe Repair remains a bastion of quality craftsmanship and commitment to the customer. I took two pair of boots in to get the heels replaced, not only did they do an excellent job on both heels, they also repaired the insoles on both pairs as well as fixed some damage on one of the boots free of charge. The repairs were finished in just over a week, much quicker than I could have expected. In today’s world of fast paced consumerism, Pendergrass stands as a testament to holding on to what you already have, rather than giving up on your belongings for something new.
