Update: my wife called them and scheduled an appointment. Granted they didn’t call us back on two different occasions, but they were slammed due to the hot weather. Understandable.
They confirmed the unit was working correctly and the duct work was in poor condition. Losing AC into the attic space. Their original installation had NOTHING to do with our problems. They documented the problem with pictures and advised us how to proceed. We will definitely continue to use them.

Karns Mechanical Services has been my go-to HVAC company for 8~9 years. My first contact with them was on an Easter Sunday. The A/C failed on a very warm weekend. My son was visiting and I really needed to get something done ASAP. Mr. Jenkins came out the same day and added coolant to the unit, providing us with immediate relief. Karns is a family owned and operated business. They are honest, reliable, hard-working, affordable, and very personable, too. They eventually installed a new system and have kept it running with regular preventive maintenance visits. If you need any attention to your HVAC system, KARNS Mechanical Services is the one to call!
