Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center is a highly-regarded medical facility, excelling in various specialties and recognized as a Joint Commission Comprehensive Stroke Center. The hospital stands out for its advanced technology in areas such as bariatric surgery, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive spine surgery. One patient recently underwent knee replacement surgery at the center, praising the entire staff for their exceptional friendliness and attentiveness. The patient commended Dr. Casey for the surgery, noting the pre-op meeting was informative and that the hospital operates like a well-oiled machine. In a separate incident, the family of a patient expressed gratitude for the incredible staff who fought hard for their loved one's life. Although the patient passed away, the family appreciated the staff's dedication and compassion, noting they treated them like family and cried with them in their time of grief. A different family had two visits within a week, once in the ER and then for a scheduled procedure. They were full of praise for every staff member, from the information and registration desks to the nurses and medical team. Particularly, they highlighted the exceptional care provided by nurse "Bonita," who was described as kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, informative, and professionally assertive. Overall, the family was extremely satisfied with the care and attention they received during their visits.
