Been searching for a gym for my kid to try out Jiu jitsu and kickboxing in the area. I trained at Ralph Gracie academy in Southern California years ago, and used to do professional MMA and boxing promotion in the past, so when my boy wanted to try out martial arts, I wanted to make sure we found a real gym and not a “mcdojo” that was just a money grab for selling the next belt test like some are in the area. Glad we found Team Oxendine! Since starting classes, our little guy has really come out of his shell and is all about going to the gym several days a week. Love this place. Casey is an amazing coach. Very knowledgeable and experienced and patient with new athletes. He takes his time to explain each technique perfectly. Great atmosphere as well. Everyone who trains there is friendly and professional.
Trained here for about 5 months before joining the military. Can honestly say these are amazing people who own the business, you train hard and the coaches will help you meet your goals. You’re immediately welcomed as a part of the family but it’s also a serious training environment where you learn and are encouraged/supported to keep going.
