I enjoyed browsing around Ulta Beauty and was offered help as soon as I walked in, which I appreciated. I’m really glad they carry e.l.f. products in the store because it’s one of my favorite affordable brands. I do wish they had testers or samples available for the e.l.f. products specifically though. Most of the items here also feel very overpriced, especially the perfume section. I ended up giving 3 stars because they were out of the exact 3 items I came in for, which was pretty disappointing.
Jordan was so helpful, informed, and kind. I came in looking for a very specific lipstick shade to match my lip liner. They went all over the store with me testing colors and listened to what I liked and didn't like, while also teaching me about the different formulas and color pay off. After, they helped me find a good formula for my complexion and gave me advice on foundation vs. tinted moisturizer. They then helped find a perfect shade match and I just went with their exact suggestions and trusted what they had to say. Anytime I need something or have a question I will absolutely be referring to them if they are available to help me.
I love the Cookeville Ulta! At other cosmetics stores, I have felt intimidated and like the employees would judge me, but here I never feel that way! The people working here are very friendly and go out of their way to help me find what I’m looking for! I have switched make-up brands over the years, and they always help me find the perfect match for my skin tone! This last time, the girl who helped me even went to check the stock room for shades they didn’t have displayed to find one that would match my skin tone. I ended up finding the perfect one because she did that for me!
