Knowing that rabbits have sensitive digestive systems and often have crises, I had mine established at two different vet offices when I got them. Over the holiday weekend, one of my bunnies got sick and went into GI stasis. First thing Tuesday morning, I began calling the vets that they had seen before as well as other offices known for having exotic vets. After calling 5-6 offices I thought I would have to drive my sick bunny two hours to UT. I didn’t realize AMC saw exotic pets, as I took my dog here years ago. They were able to get me an emergency appointment and provided excellent care to my rabbits. I’m so thankful for Animal Medical Clinic :)
This place is awesome! The employees here are very friendly and informative. I had to bring my rabbit to UT emergency vet a few weeks back because her leg was broken, she got caught in the couch.. which now I removed the bottom so she can no longer go into it. Anyways, I called about 15-16 clinics all the way from Knoxville, Greenville, even places all the way in Virginia. This place was able to get my rabbit in to replace the cast and kept me up to date on things and never got an attitude with me like UT did.
Took very good care of my dory. He ended up passing away as he was very sick but they had discounted his services up front due to how little he was and provided a partial refund after his passing. They are very professional and worked with us well. I know they took good care of him on his last day earth side 🤍
