A great builder needs vision, communication skills and craftmanship. Our experience with Castle Homes was excellent. Alan and his team first designed an amazing looking house that we constantly get compliments on. We then worked with his design team to ensure our requirements were met and everything looked cohesive. Their experience really helped us design the perfect home. We knew we could build what we wanted and stay on budget before the first nail. I can't say enough about the communication level throughout the process which was outstanding. Finally, the craftmanship was suburb from the trim to the tile. They were easy to work with and keep us up to date on the progress. Several weeks later we had our dream home on budget and in the timeframe we requested. I can't think of a thing they could have improved upon. I highly recommend Castle Homes.

When we started on this journey, we had only the vaguest idea of what we wanted in a homebuilder. If you had asked us then, I suspect we would have said something about craftsmanship or delivering on time. And those things are undoubtedly essential. But at the end of this process, we can tell you that integrity trumps all else when choosing a custom homebuilder. We are fortunate to have a handful of well regarded custom home builders in Nashville. We toured several projects, and were generally impressed with the build quality of all. Where Alan and Castle Homes really stood out at that early stage was their detailed planning before turning a single shovelful of dirt. With Alan's approach, we knew down to the cent what our project would cost before starting construction. This gave us real piece of mind, and was fundamental to our decision to have Castle build our home. There will always be challenges when you are assembling something that contains more than 100,000 parts from hundreds of vendors. Even in the best of circumstances, unforeseen problems are an integral part of the homebuilding process. The challenges abounded for us, as we started construction in the midst of the covid crisis with widespread supply chain disruptions. This is where Alan and the team really distinguished themselves. Brett and Josh, our project managers, were tireless in finding workarounds to the myriad shortages we encountered. They were great communicators: forthright when problems arose, and reassuring with a plan to solve the problem. There were numerous instances in which getting the project back on track would cost Castle more, and they valued our time over profit in every instance. They were true to their word, and endearing in their kindness, composure, and work ethic. Despite the unprecedented challenges of building a custom home through the pandemic, our home was delivered with only a brief delay. Everywhere we look in our beautiful home we see the pride and craftsmanship that Brett, Josh, Alan, and the Castle team bring to their work. There are many in Nashville who would tell you that they are masters of their craft. What we can tell you, having depended on them in these challenging times, is that they are the best people period. They possess a decency, kindness, and integrity that will endear them to you and your family. We are fortunate to have chosen them to build our home, but more fortunate to call them our friends.
