SDK West is a full-service pet care business offering boarding, daycare, and training services. They have two locations, including SDK South on South Minnesota Ave and SDK West near Wild Water West. The business is known for its professional pet care professionals who provide outstanding service.
Customers have praised SDK West for the friendly and personalized treatment their pets receive. One customer mentioned that their dogs played nicely with others during their stay and they signed up for doggy daycare. Another customer, who has been bringing their dogs to SDK for 13 years, said the staff treats dogs like their own and goes above and beyond, even including special touches like a Mother's Day card with paw prints.
In addition to boarding and daycare, SDK West offers training services. One customer shared that their dog had four private sessions with trainer Talon and achieved all of their training goals. They appreciated Talon's ability to show how their dog learns best and gave tools and education to continue training at home. Recently, a class led by Libbie was praised for her confidence, patience, and knowledge. Customers liked the group setting, which helped train their pets amidst distractions and showed that their pets aren’t the only little rascals. Feedback also mentioned the importance of maintaining a cleaner facility and working on grouping pets by size and age.
Overall, SDK West is highly recommended for its caring, professional, and attentive service, making it a trusted choice for pet owners.
I only know about dock diving here. It is more expensive than the other place across town, but I think it's worth the price. The people are more friendly here, and the facility is just as nice. There is a very large area to potty your dogs. Also, they have a treasure chest of toys that they provide for you and your dog to play with.
They take excellent care of my anxious dog! My dog has been going to this location for 9 years and it’s the only place besides home that he feels safe. He’s always so happy when we pick him up from his playdates and sleepovers. Time and time again they have gone above and beyond what a normal kennel would do. He also benefited greatly from his training course.
SDK West definitely deserves a 10/5 stars. Lidia and co are amazing people to work with. I don’t think I’d be more comfortable bringing my dogs anywhere else. We signed up Majima, Daigo and Rory for so many art projects we can’t even count anymore but we still hang up most of them on our Christmas Tree every year! Our favorite parts were when we brought our dogs in and they would post pictures of them onto their facebook page for us to see along with having birthday parties for the dogs! Also Lidias training showed us our flaws and how to correct them and I’m glad we had the opportunity to work with her on us and the dogs. If we come back to America with our dogs… read full review
