I have been a patient since the late 1970’s early 80’s and have never had a bad experience at this dental office. Everyone is so kind and professional. My kids have gone here their entire lives and my grandkids now go here as well. I highly recommend them!

At first, this place seemed great.. until now, my bite is completely off & blamed me for not being “committed” to fixing my bite & my poor husband struggles to be able to floss in between his tooth where he got his filling & being told there’s nothing they can do about it.
The more I sat With how this appointment went, the more mad I got..
So, I paid the to get my bite adjusted because I feel Like it’s been off since my last fillings at a previous dentist office. They told me it was going to be a one time fee which was like $500 & if my bite was still off, come in & they’ll fix it for free. I called to get my bite adjusted & instead, they looked at a previous scan which was back in September (it’s April now) & was showing I was hitting hard on my molars… that’s not how my teeth are now. I know one of my front teeth’s is hitting pretty hard to the point I struggle to eat. basically told me that I probably Have TMD (which is a disorder when you feel like your bite is off when it’s not). They said that it may be more serious like something to do with the ligaments or the muscles which I can see. I explained How I’ve been stretching & little do they know, I’m actually a licensed massage therapist so I perform Buccal massages to myself pretty often. Even with the stretching & the massaging, it’s not going to fix the root problem. It’s mainly fixing a symptom, not a cause. Well, she told me that I need To be committed to it… like what? I do cupping to my face, hot/cold therapy, massage, & stretching more than I probably should throughout the day, but I’m not committed? I’m also going to add that stretching/massage relieves the SYMPTOMS, not the root cause.
Then they tried to push a mouth guard on me. I don’t need a mouth guard. My husband has seen me sleep so many times & I sleep with my mouth OPEN. I use Tape to keep it closed, but this hasn’t truly started until my bite became off. He has never seen me grind my teeth at all so what’s the point of getting a mouth guard if my mouth doesn’t close? The way she went about it too was like “I think We’ve been avoiding it long enough, I know We touched on it a little bit, but you really need it.” Like I basically didn’t care for my teeth & im the problem that I’m struggling.
So, nothing was done which cool, I’m down to see if it’s more of a ligament/muscle problem, but after the appointment, I was Charged $110 to be told that I was the problem which makes absolutely no sense because I was Told that to adjustment my bite, it would be free. Since they said that it might be another issue which isn’t regarding the bite, that’s why I got charged. Okay, but I came In for my bite & the issue was regarding my bite. She chose to look at old scans & tell me that I’m the problem so why am I being Charged? I would’ve never made the appointment if I wouldve Known that I was going to get charged. I even Explained on the phone since it was free, I’m coming in for my bite. She even put me on hold to clarify & it was all good, but the day of, I’m still being charged.
Communication is so important to me, especially if you have a business & what happened today was just dirty. There was no point in me coming in. Find a place that actually takes your concerns seriously because this place isn’t it…
