Rapid City Medical Center Urgent Care

They are so amazingly kind always!! I have been with Rapid City Medical Center for over 20 yrs and they take such good care of me every time 100 %. I want to Thank-you for my care for i was so concerned about what i thought was going on with me and it was a better out come than I thought!! Amen

The Dr whom seen me is very professional.

Dr. Rafferty is a wonderful doctor who has a great bedside manner! He always answers all of my questions and he is never rushed to get out of the room and onto the next patient like most other doctors are. I give him 5 stars!!

Billing is a joke. I asked for a policy and got told they were in house polices and I’m not allowed them.

I wanted to try out a new OBGYN doctor in Dec 2023. I made the appointment as just a regular yearly appointment. When the doctor came in she was asking me about infertility stuff and I answered her. When the appointment was ending I asked her why she wasn’t doing a pelvic or breast exam and she said the appointment had been put in as an infertility appointment. I told her then that I had not made an infertility appointment at all and that this was just my yearly appointment, and I reiterated that this was only supposed to be a regular exam. I thought these charges had been dropped a year ago but then at the end of February I get a bill saying I owed them. Then about 10 days later I got a bill saying it was past due and I was going to collections. I called them and the person said “Oh sorry that was sent out by mistake, but there are 2 things here so I just need to get this cleared and you should be good.” I get a call today saying insurance is not going to cover it. I told the lady “I know insurance isn’t going to cover it, but I should have never been charged it in the first place.” She said a manager will call me sometime. This charge only occurred because the scheduler put in the wrong appointment type, and they are refusing to admit they are in the wrong.

I go to urgent care and ask to see Dr. Rafferty. He always remembers me no matter how long since my last visit.

I saw Dr Sears today and was very impressed with the care I received from her. She was easy to talk to and evaluated my symptoms to get a complete assessment of my illness. We lucky to have her as our caregiver. Thank you Dr Sears!

I had 2 fatty tumors removed by Dr Wittenberg this past week. He was friendly and explained the process the entire time. That night he even called after hours to make sure I didn’t need anything additional. His nurses were AMAZING and made me feel comfortable the entire time. 10/10 would recommend him to family and friends. Thank you for making a nerve racking situation a little easier!

Dr. Rafferty is always so great with my kiddos when we can't get into the pediatrician. Makes them feel comfortable and the appt goes much smoother.
