The Builder who I purchased my home from suggested Mystic Mountain Landscaping. A bid was created, and it was suggested that landscaping should be done after my privacy fence was installed.
I called 6 times, emailed 4 times over a thirty day period to schedule the project.
Not one email or call was returned. I stopped in the office after 32 days of requesting the work scheduled… no information was known about when the estimate date of project start would begin.
At that point I hired a different landscaper who returned my call immediately and got the work scheduled.

They showed up two and a half weeks later after the day she said they would come and the pricing was outrageous! 375$ an hour to weed eat my tiny drainage ditch behind my house! I’m in the wrong business but I also wouldn’t take advantage of customers! I don’t like talking bad on others but I asked over the phone to see how much it would cost as well and nobody answered me before they started working! They said they took it upon themselves to mow my yard and pull weeds for free because they had nothing to do! I was told they did that part for free! I appreciate it but I didn’t ask for that! All together my bill is 475$. For that!

We had Mystic Mountain come out to trim a few evergreen bushes, as well as our juniper bush in the front of our yard. The crew of 3 was here about 2 hours. They had a lot of issues with their equipment, and spent a good deal of their time on site troubleshooting a chainsaw not starting/running. As I said, we had them trim up a few bushes, and some of our ornamental grasses. They were kind, but didn’t seem overly knowledgeable. Regardless, a few weeks later, we received a bill in the mail for over $500, for 2 hours (6 man hours). The invoice stated they did aeration and power raking, which they didn’t. We called and they “adjusted” the bill to $400, but I am still at a loss as to how they could charge that much for trimming and cleaning up a few bushes/grasses. Within a few days as well, it became very apparent all the trimmings that were left behind with a good 8in brown ring all the way around the juniper. I’m just really disappointed, and when prompted, they refuse to admit that anything is or was amiss. I will most assuredly not be doing business with them in the future and would advise no one else to either, unless they actually fix the issues.I am guessing the guys on these crews make no more than $25/hr each. Being generous, you have $75/hr in labor, or $150 total, leaving $260 in overhead!? That’s just not right. At all.Services: Lawn landscaping

I hired this company to install landscaping and sprinklers. The least serious problem is that all my instructions weren't followed. But there was no follow-through. Phone calls weren't returned and no help whatsoever was given in the way of advice concerning lawn care, tips on watering, how to care for the shrubs and trees they planted, and . . . Four of the eight shrubs they planted died within the first month. They showed up at my house with a truck leaking gas directly out of the tank onto the street and later returned with the same vehicle still leaking. I pointed this problem out to Tom: I was just ignored, an activity at which he excels. I wanted the irrigation controller installed in the garage instead of outside. He charged me $200.00 to drill a hole through the garage wall. I would never use their services again.Services: Sod installation

Not good at all. Don’t do what they agree to and don’t answer phone or return messages. Never showed up to clear driveway and sidewalks. Now it’s an icy mess. Ouch!

We contacted them to give us a bid on an upcoming drainage project that we would like to start in the spring. They came out and assessed the project. It has been almost a month now, and we haven't heard anything back from them. We have called and left several messages requesting a call back. If they weren't interested in doing the project, they could have just said so and saved everyone alot of time.

The most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with. Mystic did my front yard during construction so I got a quote from them to do my backyard. The sprinkler portion was high so I hired someone else to do that. They came to walk my property and talk about exactly what I wanted done. As they were looking at my yard they saw the sprinklers being installed. They agreed to do top soil, sod, and a substantial amount of rock (probably totaling over 4K still) and told me they would get me an updated quote. They told me they would be able to get to my yard in about 2 months.
I never got the quote so I tried many times to call them and follow up with no reply. Finally I saw them landscaping my neighbors house two weeks ago and drove up to talk to them. They told me they had two more houses to do and would then get to mine.
Several phone calls and a few weeks later still zero call back and no word. I decided to reach out to my builder to see if he could get me another number. He informed me “Tom said since you had someone else do your sprinklers they don’t want to do your yard. You can get them to do it.”
So basically, they lied to me for months. Told me I was on their schedule. And didn’t even have the decency to call me and tell me they were no longer going to landscape. What a joke.
I would never use a company that is so dishonest or terrible at communicating. If you’re looking to get your yard done I would highly suggest finding someone else that is trustworthy. Mystic is not that company.
