A family emergency brought me to Rapid City. My elderly father with late stage dementia had fallen and was in the hospital. I was informed there were no openings at nursing homes and I would need to care for my father at his home. Without Cornerstone I would never have been able to manage that.I met with Karen to assess our needs in our home. Her knowledge of resources I may need and guidance on how to take care of an Alzheimer’s patient was desperately needed by my mother and I. Cornerstone is the only group we found us to help my husband to physically get to his cancer appointments. Such wonderful and safe help to get us there. I know there are many other families who can and should ask for their help .
