Cayce West Columbia Primary Care Center is described as the best facility in SC. Patients appreciate doctors who are patient, take time to answer questions, and provide clarity, empathy, and sincerity. The staff is generally great, helpful, and outgoing, especially the front desk crew who loves to have a good time. However, some patients find the front desk staff unfriendly and rude. A common complaint is long wait times, with appointments scheduled for 11 but not seen until 12:30, leading some to question the use of appointments. Despite this, patients report that the center takes physical and mental health seriously, getting them up to date on vaccines and providing thorough care that other facilities did not.
Everyone is great. The only thing I don't like is getting an appointment for 11 and it's 12 30 before I see the doctor. What's the use of having appointments? How about first come, first served?
Been going to Lexington and switched here after being virtually laughed at in my face and nothing getting done. Hadn’t had a checkup in over 10 years (I’ve told lexington this and all they did was ask a couple questions), I went in here and they got me up to date on all of my vaccines that lexington didn’t give me, and they took everything I said seriously. The front desk staff was pretty unfriendly and rude but regardless I’m just happy they took my physical and mental health seriously.
UPDATE: In November the nurse called me stating a referral was put in for a GYN. By February I had not heard anything so I called my insurance company to get the info for the GYN I was referred to. Turns out THEY NEVER ACTUALLY SUBMITTED THE REFERRAL THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY PUT IN!
So now I am waiting for a new patient appointment for a new provider with all these issues that are currently addressed but I have been left with no choice but to get a new provider due to the lack of care here.
I thought changing to this provider would help me get a better quality of care and I was completely wrong! 1) It’s extremely difficult to get an appointment 2)In August...read full review
