“Our oldest has been attending this school for a little over 2 years and our youngest for about 10 months. It has been absolutely wonderful for our children. The instructors are all fantastic and really good with the younger kids as well as being able to push the older ones to succeed. They keep it fun while still enforcing respect, discipline, and hard work at the school and at home. The students are great as well, our kids have quickly formed friendships with others there and look forward to going to every class. I can not say enough good things about this place, both masters, and all of it's instructors. We are happy to have this community as another family away from home.“

“Today I took a 3-hour women's self defense/self protection class at Greenville Combatives Academy with Zane. Excellent in all ways. Zane was very organized and prepared, and covered a ton of material in the class. We learned about predator behavior, proper mindset, and ways to prepare ourselves with both soft and hard skills. We practiced skills in several real-life scenarios. He kept all 4 of us in the class engaged throughout. Reasonably priced as well.“

“When we moved to the area this past summer, I visited some martial arts studios in the area and I knew this place was different the very first time I visited. I talked to the owner for quite a while, never felt rushed, and observed a class in progress. I immediately signed my son up.

When a student first enrolls, they come in for a private lessson so that when they join a group class for the first time, they don't feel lost in the flow of the class. My 10-year-old son really appreciated that because he can be a little anxious about new things. We've been attending for a number of weeks now. My son just tested and recieved his yellow belt and is so excited to keep progressing! He never complains about jumping in the car to go or about the drills or exercises. In fact, it's his favorite thing to do during the week!

“Great place to train at. Instructions are broken down for all levels to understand. It is very much reality based and not sport oriented. Beautiful venue to train to see all the classical tradition Japanese culture and architectural features allowing one to feel fully immersed in the moment.
