Absolutely the best around. The instructors, owners, students.....all fantastic people. There are no egos-- they all get checked at the door. My kids learned so much when they were attending, and now with the women's self defense classes, it is able to be continued even now. I could not see going anywhere else. Sensi Josh is invested and involved with all his students. And with anything, you will get out what you put in.

Shorindokai Karate has been a game changer for our family. Our son has been attending for the last four years and there has been a noticeable difference in our son that we credit to the amazing instruction of Sensei Owens and his team of professionals (shout out to Ms. Holly) Not only is or son learning the physical movements and stances of practicing the art of Karate from an accomplished instructor, but gaining life and character skills like discipline, resilience, respect, and then some. I have had the opportunity to watch my grandson’s class on several occasions. I have been very impressed by the instructor. His class included kids from all ages with different stages of karate knowledge, yet he made sure that all students were included in the lessons. He emphasized discipline, but if he had to reprimand a student, he made sure they understood why he did it. He often gathered the whole group to include them in discussions of proper behavior. Not only has my grandson’s skills in karate improved dramatically, he has learned discipline and respect.
