I’m writing this review while I’m still a guest here, and I travel a lot, so I don’t say this lightly: this hotel has some of the friendliest employees I’ve ever met. I came to Sumter to visit my son, who is stationed here, and decided to stay at this hotel. We’re about 20 minutes from Shaw, so if you’re wondering whether it’s worth staying here, the answer is YES. The hotel is very clean, the staff is kind, the area feels safe, and the breakfast is good. I don’t have a single complaint about this place.

I've been a Hyatt member for the last 5 years. I have stayed at Hyatts from here to Hawai'i and this is one of the best! The rooms were clean and comfortable, specifically the pillows and bed. The shower water pressure and temperature was amazing. The staff was extremely polite, and the breakfast was top knotch? they really go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met! I've stayed at some pretty crummy Hyatts but this one makes up for it and keeps me loyal. We will be back!
Spacious and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Spacious lobby area to sit and have a drink.
Didn’t use the pool nor the work out space but nice areas. Plenty of parking. Walking distance to many restaurants bars and stores
