Expert at dog handling and nail clipping! I have an impossibly squirmy 65 pound dog who must’ve had some trauma before I got him from the shelter because he will not let you touch his front paws. His nails were getting longer and longer and he kept snapping them off, hurting himself, and bleeding everywhere. The only other successful nail clipping he has had was when the vet completely sedated him and Dremeled all his nails. No other groomer or vet has been able to handle him when he’s awake. I walked into all about dogs grooming salon and one very capable lady cut the nails on both his front paws in about 5 minutes. It only took one person unlike the last nail salon... read full review

Today I took my Springer Spaniel for his very 1st grooming. I was very nervous because he has separation anxiety. I was very, very pleased from the moment I walked in, everyone was so sweet, loving and caring. Right away my anxiety left and so did my dogs. Cindy explained everything to me and asked me questions. I thought a lot of that. My dog Otis, after being loved on by everyone there, seemed very relaxed. They reached out to me as soon as he finished up & they let me know how well he did. Cindy was able to groom my 2 dogs who both have severe anxiety. They both looked great and I couldn't be more grateful that she was willing to try. She treated them with compassion and allowed them time to rest when they got overwhelmed. Thank you. I highly recommend.
