I'm just getting started with the VA and I tell you they have been great. I was treating with respect and taken good care of. They spent so much time with me and listened to me and didn't rush me in any way and took care of all of my health needs. I had my prescriptions set up and got those mailed to me, the VA person in charge of my prescriptions called me after I received mine and went over everything with me and was so nice. I can't say enough about how nice and professional they are, I'd give them a 10 if I could.
This new clinic just opens on July 1st, 2025, so I will withhold my own judgement until I visit there myself; however, a good friend whose husband is a veteran said it took nearly 3 hours for him to be seen! It could be because the clinic has just opened, so I’ll take her comments with a grain of salt! Still, what really upsets me about the process of opening this new clinic was that only 3 of the hardworking, dedicated health professionals who honorably served us for years were allowed to move to this new clinic! Have had nothing but solid care from this clinic. I don't even live in the States but go back once a year. I make the appointment months in advance online. They send reminders. Staff and Doctors are perfectly fine. If I need to change the date/time for some reason (I usually do), there is never an issue. It's a solid clinic for sure. See ya' in two weeks!
