“I drove 2.5 hours mostly on one-lane roads to see Dr. Porcelli for a second opinion based on the Google reviews, and I'm happy to say it was a worthwhile decision. While other dentists advised a root canal on a painful tooth, Dr. Porcelli was insightful enough to realize that the problem was bone inflammation and not inherently the tooth itself. He adjusted my bite and my night guard—minimally invasive solutions. (Other dentists had tried the same, but they could not do so as to relieve the pain.) Not 24 hours later I was in 50% less pain and chewing on the right side of my mouth, which I had not done in months. It was also very refreshing to have a dentist assess my overall health and give me helpful recommendations on other things I could do to maximize my wellness. Dr. Porcelli and staff answered all of my questions, even if they weren't directly related to my issue. Not once did I feel rushed during my visit. If you're on the fence about whether to give this practice a try, just do it! It was the best dental experience I've ever had. The staff is kind, and the vibe is peaceful, clean, modern, and confident. I wish that they were closer and that care like this could be accessible to everyone.

“Excellent dental practice. Dr Langerhans is a very capable Cosmetic dentist...so almost no referrals, he does everything himself. Crowns, extractions, implants etc. Great staff and front desk. Also offer their own Dental Insurance, "Dr. Smiley's" if you do not have any insurance. Very fair pricing.“

Then, I have Melanie as a hygienist, who is an equally awesome person and a net loss for Australia, but a top addition to the Lowcountry.

Finally, I deal with Dr. Darrah, who is an incredibly competent and caring dentist, who also happens to be a good dude. I can’t recommend this office enough.“
