Ashley at the Northwoods location was very knowledgeable and efficient. I have thick long curly hair and needed a nice size chop AND a blowout. I was a walk in on a time limit and she made it happen! I was in and out. Thanks again!Services: Haircut

I grew up shopping at Northwoods Mall, and as a kid and young teen, most of my clothes came from JC Penney. Other stores have come and gone, but JC Penney is still here. Recently, I visited the mall on a whim. It was raining, traffic was bad, and the mall is a fun place to wait out Charleston's traffic woes. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but noticed a large Sephora store within JC Penney, as well as a Forever 21 area downstairs and a large Disney selection upstairs. Speaking of stores in Northwoods Mall coming and going, I know I'm not the only person who remembers the Disney store? I guess it lives on, within JC Penney. We were glad to find a dress for my daughter but it was almost ruined with the rudeness and inpatient cashier. He didn't even have the decorum to thank us after our purchase. My daughter said to him, have a good evening. His response was "unhun" you too. Really!!! So customers like us don't assist in your paycheck, we just annoy you with our presence! With service like his we can shop elsewhere and wait for this JC Penny to close its doors like all the others. The 3 stars are only because we found the dress we were seeking and the sweet young lady at the dressing room.
