Our daughter Peyton deals with a sensory processing disorder which makes most daily activities a challenge. Peyton loves sports but because of her disorder, loud noise and activity involving large crowds make this a difficult situation. We were and are blessed that New Kenaki Karate reached out willing to work around our situation and even went beyond the usual expectations to help our daughter be part of an amazing team. Was it easy, no! But the team joined together and came up with a plan to help her excel and now our daughter has overcome the majority of challenges we faced. We’ve had a great experience at Kenakai Karate. The instructors are professional but approachable, and the dojo feels welcoming and family oriented. They do an awesome job teaching the kids respect, integrity, and confidence. We have seen so much growth since enrolling our child and are glad to be part of Kenakai Karate family.
We love Kenaki Karate at Catawba Baptist Child Development Center!! Sensei Connie and her staff are awesome! They have a heart for children and it shows through all they do in the classes, camps, how they speak to their students and the children love them. I have watched the children we serve grow so much in their manners, skills, discipline and love of the karate. Kenaki Karate is Awesome!!
