Based on the reviews, The Melanin Room offers a sanctuary where beauty meets comfort in the heart of Hilton Head Island, SC. Michaela is hands down the best and makes sure clients go home well satisfied and get their money's worth. For those who hate getting waxed, Michaela makes the experience bearable and is personable, making sure clients are comfortable. She is knowledgeable at what she does and is a true professional who delivers excellent results in a comfortable, welcoming environment. As a first-time client, the experience was truly exceptional, with the workspace being well-organized and meticulously clean. Michaela does such a great job, ensuring every nook and cranny is taken care of. From someone who has been waxing since 2016, if you are not waxing with Michaela then you haven’t been having a good experience. Trust is a huge requirement, and this is one place it never fails. She is the best waxer in town, and booking with her will not disappoint.
I’ve been going to The Melanin Room for a few months. Michaela has been doing my waxes since she worked at another facility and I couldn’t go to anyone else after she left to start The Melanin Room. I hate getting waxed, with everything in me I hate it but Michaela makes the experience bearable and whereas most estheticians would do a rush job to get a client in and out, Michaela is personable and makes sure her clients are comfortable. She knowledgeable at what she does and I would recommend her for any skin care needs. ☺️
Michaela is hands down the best!! I'm not the easiest or quietest customer but she is still professional!!! I would recommend her to ANYONE!!! BEST WAXER IN TOWN!! Book with her and you will not be disappointed ❤️💯
From someone who has been waxing since 2016. Just wanted to say that if you are not waxing with Michaela then you haven’t been having a good experience, I have been waxing with her since 2020 from her previous location to her own place and all I have to say is that I lived in North Carolina and I would come down every weekend to S.C. Beaufort and still put the effort to go get my wax done by her only! TRUST is a huge requirement, and this is one place it never fails! 😊 recommend!! In a heart beat. 💙
