Played Riverton Pointe for the first time recently and was really impressed. It’s a bit tucked away out in Hardeeville, but it's well worth the quick drive off the beaten path.
It’s a Nicklaus Design course, so you can expect big bunkers, wide fairways, and massive greens that are in fantastic shape—the roll was smooth and surprisingly fast. It’s definitely a test if you play from the back tees, but there are plenty of tee boxes so it’s still totally playable for higher handicaps.
Since it’s a newer community layout, the neighborhood around it is still growing, but the course itself feels high-end and super well-maintained. The staff at the shop and the… read full review
