She was so knowledgeable about hair and immediately knew what would work best for us. She gave us the perfect haircuts and took the time to explain styling tips too. She even showed us how to curl our hair with a flat iron and recommended over-the-counter amino acids to help promote hair growth.

What honestly impressed me the most was how observant and knowledgeable she was. My friend is currently undergoing treatment for melanoma and has been dealing with extreme hair loss after being very sick recently. Even after speaking with doctors, she still hadn’t really gotten clear answers about what could be contributing to it. Within just a couple of minutes of examining her hair, Chel noticed signs that made her ask if she had been seriously sick lately and if she had been experiencing fevers or possible hormonal-related issues — all without knowing any of her health background beforehand. It was amazing to see how much experience and understanding she had just from working with hair and scalp health every day.

I asked her how much of my dead ends I should take off and she made sure not to take off more than what was needed to keep my desired length.
