The interior is absolutely adorable, and the vibe is very relaxed. Got an awesome haircut from Madison, and I will be back for a color as well. “I've been getting my haircut by the same person for a couple years now, and just recently she moved to Florida. I searched on the Vagaro app for a stylist near my office who did cuts for men, and found The Parlour. It's right off of East Bay on Exchange St and easy to get to, but parking can be a bit tricky based on the time of day, as is anything downtown. No worries though because I found a metered spot right in front of The Tavern. The Parlour is located upstairs in Suite 401. They used to be in 404 but someone moved out and they took advantage of the great space. I really love this location. Old building. Old brick walls. Exposed beams in the ceiling. Great views and lots of sunlight. Jennifer was my stylist by appointment and she was ready for me when I arrived. She's super friendly and welcoming. They specialize in women's hair, but are more than capable of men's haircuts. Her attention to detail was exceptional. I'm really easy when it comes to haircuts. Just make it look good, and if you think something should look one way because of what my hair wants to do, go for it. The haircut came with a wash & rinse plus styling. For the price, I wasn't expecting the other services, but am so happy to have had that all done in one visit. I was in and out in 30 minutes and will definitely be back again next month.“

I was referred by a trusted friend (with great hair, obviously) when looking for a colorist in my new city, and I am selective about who colors my hair but when I saw her website I knew she was my person. When a stylist also has a perfectly simple, menu of services and no hidden costs, it shows that you're in skilled, confident hands. Your time and attention is entirely hers for the entirety of your appointment.

I came in with months long grown out roots and a dull brassy blonde that was in dire need for a reset. Addie's approach is warm, understanding, and she'll take all the time you need to discuss your desired outcome to ensure all expectations are managed. She managed to get my hair to a perfect blend and tone of bright blond that looks natural, lived in, but fresh. We took into consideration of how often I am able to come in for maintenance when deciding on our style and I also purchased some of the Mr Smith products she suggested and my hair feels truly transformed after about a month!

“Charles is a proper barber surgeon!

I was visiting from out of town and stranded while waiting for a car repair. Although Charles kindly let me know they work off appointments, he let me inside to cool off on this particularly hot day. He was then able to get me in the chair, squeezing me in between appointments.

Based on his reviews, I knew I was in for a great cut. He exceeded my expectations and more importantly, my girlfriends.

What I didn’t anticipate was a rich conversation full of wisdom, proverbs from Charles’ late mother, and much needed advice (which at the time was unknown just how much it was needed).

Truly looking forward to sitting in Charles’ chair next time I’m in town, or maybe his law office! The possibilities are limitless with him.“
