Prisma Health Hospice – Columbia

Worst hospital ever and very unprofessional and rude staff. They called me and told me out of nowhere that my 8 MONTH old daughter had a “referral” which was a lie. My daughter was seen there at 1 month old and was turned away from their “professional pediatric OBGYN” and was told she was fine. Ever since then they’ve done nothing but terrorize me and call me with “fake referrals.” Today was my last straw when we haven’t been there since that one appt at one month old because now my daughters actively going to MUSC and getting the treatments she needs. Today they called me randomly with another fake referral and then the women wouldn’t tell me why and said “I’m just trying to do my f***ing job if your daughters getting treatment at MUSC have a good day” and immediately hung the phone up on me and never answered my question of where these referrals are coming from. She was very rude and mean and she ruined my entire mood. That’s the girl who makes calls and is supposed to have amazing customer service for Prisma health. Not only did they not give my baby proper treatment, they continue to bother me and even at one point set an appointment up for her that I had no idea about and when I reported their business they were able to cover this tracks by saying “they don’t know what specific person in the office it was that made the appointment that I, her mother, was not aware of.” For one that’s illegal to make appointments for a newborn baby that the mother never knew about or approved. This place is SHADY AND MEAN AND SKETCHY. I’ve still never received an apology and can’t even get an answer to why they keep terrorizing me and my innocent 8 month old daughter. Do not ever go here or you will have endless problems. Do better PRISMA HEALTH.

Blount Memorial in Maryville Tn where they took over about 2 yrs ago has went down hill dramatically. Drs and leaving and Meany more are looking as well as Nursing staff. Epic there computers system is horrible leaving patents that scheduled for test and procedures just sitting in the system. Everything had to go thur South Carolina, and I mean everything. Very dangerous for parents heath. The Staff is great but there hands are tide due to the incompetence of the so called non-profit organization

Big problem in Blount County Tn if they have a code they have to call South Carolina to page out the code in Tn Sometimes it that’s 15 mins Someone could very easy die over this. Most if not all Employees are very dissatisfied with them after the take over at Blount and many Dr and Nurses are leaving. How ever the staff try and do everything they can but the company is horrible
