This is the best place to go get your eyes exam. The Eye doctor takes time to explain everything to you. I loved the excellent customer service from the time you walk in the door!

Thorough Eye Exam by Dr. Jill. Then I was immediately assisted with picking out some new frames, and was even given some inside assistance that saved me a lot of money. Great experience.

I have gone to a different Lenscrafters location for 10+ years and always paid a $10 copay with my eye exam for contact lenses. I set an appointment at this location due to availability. Once I arrived, I was told I had to pay $49 out of pocket for imaging that I did not request. I was never given an option but simply told that it was apart of the exam and I had to sign for it. I made it clear that I did not want to do it or pay, but went ahead and signed as it was not presented as optional and I just wanted to get the exam done. Once I realized that imaging is done to check for eye health, I explained that I was simply there for a contact lense prescription and have another eye doctor for the health of my eyes. There was no need for imaging that would add an unexpected out of pocket cost. The eye doctor helping me at the time explained to me that the primary doctor at that location requires all patients to have imaging done with their exam to protect the health of the eyes. While I understand the health of my eyes is important, I had already explained that I was only there for contacts and have a separate optometrist for that concern. I also shared that I have gone to the Cross Hill location for years and never had to do that or pay an extra fee. She then started to explain that a lot of customers come to the Sandhilll location because they are not happy with the services at the Cross Hill location. That seemed like a deflection from my concern about the unnecessary service. The doctor then brushed past my concern and went on to explain how healthy my eyes look. Again, I know that mu eyes are healthy because I have an specialized optometrist who checks that. I only wanted contacts! I was also told that I would have to pay an additional $20 or $40 for my contact lense evaluation based on the kind of contacts I need. I was then charged the higher amount of $40 without an explanation on how they determined I would have to pay the higher amount. So I went for an eye exam expecting to pay my normal $10 copay and left spending $90+ on the eye exam alone. I have an issue with the additional charges AND the way it was done. The way the additional charges were thrown into the exam was unprofessional and shady. It was delivered like “Oh by the way, this is gonna be $40.” I set this appointment over the phone and I simply wouldn’t have come if I was aware that the price of the exam would be wildly different than I was used to based on what this particular office requires. I only went through with the exam because I was already there, I needed it, and I had already shaped my busy day around getting it done. No one in the office was outright rude, but the issue is the overall business practice. If the doctor requires all patients to have retinal imaging done which costs extra money, then that should be clearly communicated to the customer when the appointment is set. And I feel like my ignorance about the eye exam process was taken advantage of because I would have sternly declined the imaging had I understood what it was for before it was done. Never again.

Worst experience ever...scheduled my appointment with an extremely rude receptionist and gave all my information they requested. Then they spam my phone saying they don't accept Medicare and to reschedule...News flash I don't use Medicare just idiotic to say the least

Pleased with such an easy process. With or without insurance, that’s the place to go for your glasses or lenses prescription.

From the time we stepped into the facility at Sandhills, all employees went above and beyond any other eye doctor's office we have been to in Columbia since i have lived here the past 40 years! From Lawrence who greeted us, and Kaitlyn who took well care of us through the general process and then Dr Abbaski who provided superior patient care and service..it was a fantastic office visit. Thank you for treating us with utmost kindness and professionalism.
