Best experience ever!!! They were so quick, friendly and professional. It’s been over a year and I needed glasses says the SC DMV. My eyes are sooo sensitive but they listened to my eye health concerns and addressed them. They work so well together. I just did a massage therapy for an employee appreciation event for another office yesterday. The group here was so pleasant… Highly recommend.

Dr. Brinkley is wonderful. However the other Dr...not so much. He was a bit rude to my son and kept asking him to speak up or he'd have to stop the vision test.

Worse experience ever!!... VSP is my eye care Insurance. Through them my plan is 0 Copay. These ppl set my appointment knew who my Insurance was through but failed to tell me I would have to pay 80 JUST for my prescription yes a piece of paper not contacts not glasses a piece of paper. Explained to the front desk AND showed her my planned which she never asked for and showed her I wasn't suppose to pay anything with my plan she stated she can see what it says but her "insurance lady" who was not present to and supposedly could not be reached said to charge me 80 no matter what my planned stated. I walked out contacted my insurance just to make sure I wasn't over looking something. They confirmed I had no Copay. The lady at the front desk stated it didn't matter what my insurance stated she has to go by what she was told by someone who she wasn't willing to reach out to to confirm. I ended up not getting seen and missing work for no reason. Very unprofessional and inconvenient!! I wish I got there names but I was so upset but I know the office knows who worked on Saturday 01/06/2024. A grievance was definitely filed and corporate will be contacted next and whatever else I have to do because I left work lost money and still didn't get seen because I refuse to pay because my insurance stated I didn't have to

We have always had a pleasant experience when going to this office. And it’s always fun trying on the frames!

If I could give zero stars I would! This is my second time trying to communicate with the staff and doctor that my prescription was too high. The response was for me to go to a different office after waiting weeks for my appointments. They know if they send you somewhere else the insurance company only pays an eye exam once a year! Manager Jazmin was unprofessional she kept interrupting me while I was explaining the situation. Staff is unkind. They seem bothered by patients they don't care it's sad. I would not recommend this location they need a lot of professional development. As well as canceling my apt twice on the same days two different times. Who does that ? So unprofessional and unwelcoming.

Dr. Brinkley has addressed my eye care needs for several years at his offices inside Wal-Mart on Harbison and now at his office on St. Andrews Rd. His staff is as professional and personable as he is.

Zero stars: After today, I'm NEVER taking my special needs daughter back to this office. I find Dr. Brinkley, when fortunate enough to get an appointment with him, to be quite thorough. Unfortunately my daughter has only been with him once. Dr. Miller is the reason that I'll never go back. How is it possible to say to a parent "here's the prescription you can use it if you want to." What sense does that make? His lack of professionalism is unlike anything I've ever experienced. My daughter has Down syndrome and has been wearing the same prescription, including this one, for 3 years. When it googled special needs eye doctors, Dr. Brinkley and his associates were in the list. I think that's a lie. There are babies with glasses so someone has helped them. My child is brushed aside and given the same prescription written on a different pad. Yes! Her vision has changed! Yes she's really having a hard time setting and maneuvering in some situations. This man didn't care! She has cataracts "they seem to be stable" Dr. Miller said. I'm going to find a genuine special needs eye doctor that cares enough to roll up his sleeves and help her see better.
